Aimee has over 15 years of experience as a Clinical Neuropsychologist and Psychologist, working across public hospital and private practice settings. She has a particular specialisation in the assessment and diagnosis of dementia syndromes, and in the post-diagnostic care of these individuals and their families. She has been involved in the development of new models of care across inpatient and outpatient geriatric services, and has sat on steering committees and working groups to provide expertise in the development of new services for older persons. She also provides consultancy and project advisory input to organisations regarding their strategic direction and service provision.

She is very passionate about her work in the area of rehabilitation medicine, where she supports many patients with traumatic brain injury, acquired brain injury and spinal cord injury to adjust to life post injury, with a focus on addressing the internal and external challenges that arise for patients in this context. She leads and co-facilitates a community group with Jessica, for people with SCI, TBI and ABI bringing people together to foster growth and connectedness to natural supports.

Aimee also provides psychological therapy to people facing situational challenges, individuals with mental health issues, or simply those seeking to enrich their life. Her framework is relational and person-centred. She brings a naturally caring and insightful approach to her work with clients, always with a focus on establishing a supportive therapeutic connection. She draws upon a wide variety of therapies including CBT, schema therapy, ACT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing and IFS. She enjoys the depth of other approaches such as AEDP, that sees the client as whole first and foremost, working collaboratively with the client to address the defences and inhibitory emotions that prevent them from living their full and true self.

She provides services to Medicare, workers compensation, icare NSW, CTP, NDIS, DVA and other insurance agencies.
